Early Plum Blossoms Bring Spring

[Intro]

[Verse 1]

The garden still sleeps beneath a thin frost

One sprig of small flowers is first to call the season awake

It passes through windswept terraces and winding corridors

Like words of comfort arriving early and settling on my heart

[Pre-Chorus]

I know fine moments, too, can be fleeting

So I want all the more to leave a little extra warmth for you

[Chorus]

The first flowering branch of spring reaches your side before all others

Adding a little brightness to the long wait

Even if tomorrow the petals must drift far away on the wind

Today's blossoming will not have been in vain

The first flowering branch of spring reaches your side before all others

May you find new hope when you lift your head

[Instrumental Interlude]

[Verse 2]

Morning dew lights up the heart of the flower

At dusk, a shadow pauses beside a cup again

All the tender thoughts I never had time to voice

All hoping to arrive before the heavy snow is gone

[Pre-Chorus]

I know fine moments, too, can be fleeting

So I want all the more to leave a little extra warmth for you

[Chorus]

The first flowering branch of spring reaches your side before all others

Adding a little brightness to the long wait

Even if tomorrow the petals must drift far away on the wind

Today's blossoming will not have been in vain

The first flowering branch of spring reaches your side before all others

May you find new hope when you lift your head

[Bridge]

I will not mistake brevity for being unworthy of cherishing

Do not let the parting you foresee take your joy away in advance

When the first flowering branch earnestly faces the wind

I too learn to hold this moment close first

[Final Chorus]

The first flowering branch of spring reaches your side before all others

Adding a little brightness to the long wait

Even if tomorrow the petals must drift far away on the wind

Today's blossoming will not have been in vain

The first flowering branch of spring reaches your side before all others

May you find new hope when you lift your head

[Outro]

Please leave the window a little open for the new daylight

I will hear the answer in the flowers' blooming
